The Workshop

Our workshop is located at 74 Thorneycroft Street, Miramichi, New Brunswick and consists of:

The Sawmill: A Baker Band Sawmill operated indoors allows us to saw our timbers from logs up to 46 feet in length and up to 38 inches in diameter.

The Planers: A Newman 4-Sided Planer has a capacity of 8” thick x 12” wide. The Oliver Surface Planer has a capacity of 7” thick x 24” wide.

The Layout/Joinery Area: The layout and joinery area is where most of our timber frame work is completed.

The Kiln: A small kiln with a capacity of 3000 board feet is used for custom orders of boards and planks.

The Panel Shop: Here we produce 4’ x 8’ insulating panels for our clients and other timber frame companies. The R-Value is dependant upon the thickness of the insulation with a 4 inch foam providing R20 and an 8” foam providing R40.

The Crate Shop: We build crates for shipping goods domestically and overseas. This area is certified for the manufacture of heat treated wood crates (built from heat treated wood) for exporting to various countries.

The Shipping and Receiving Area: Our mill yard easily accommodates transport trucks and trailers for receiving logs orders and shipping timber orders.
